Construction of a new community centre is now under way at Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne. Councillors gathered at the site, between Pevensey Bay Road and Harbour Quay on the western side of the new Sovereign Harbour Innovation Park, to mark the start of the development.

The Glovers House offices on the Bexhill Enterprise Park have now been completed. The building is fully let with immediate effect to growing leisure company Park Holidays UK, whose staff move in from tomorrow, 3 December.

Sea Change Sussex has been revealed as one of only three organisations in south-east England to be successful in the third round of the Government’s Regional Growth Fund. Grant funding of up to £5.5 million has been allocated – to be combined with private investment – for Sea Change’s proposed North Queensway Business Park in Hastings, to help local manufacturing businesses to expand and create more local jobs.
