We’ve kicked off 2022 by opening the doors of our Pacific House offices on the Sovereign Harbour Innovation Park in Eastbourne to two new occupiers: care services company Helping Hands Home Care and computer network security firm Path Global UK.

Helping Hands, which has moved into an office on the first floor of the building, is a highly respected, fast-growing provider of in-home support services – from simple companionship to complex, nurse-supported, live-in care.

With 160 regional branches nationwide, the firm has moved its Eastbourne team from a town centre office to Pacific House for better quality premises and the flexibility to expand. The company has office-based staff in the building plus a large team of carers who come and go for meetings and training.

You can see a few of its team members outside their new offices here.

Samantha Gauci, Eastbourne Branch Manager, said:

“Helping Hands is growing rapidly and our ‘hyper-local’ branch approach is vital to ensuring we maintain highly personalised care for people in the community.

“We’re excited about our office move, which enables us to care for more people in the Eastbourne area. We chose Pacific House because of its convenient location, parking, value for money and the high-quality facilities on offer. And we’re now keen to welcome more driven, empathetic staff to join our expanding team here – with roles to suit people from experienced carers to those wanting to start in the profession.”

Anyone interested in finding out about care for themselves or a loved one, or opportunities to become a carer, should visit the Helping Hands website at www.helpinghandshomecare.co.uk or call 0333 414 3885.

Path Global UK Ltd has also moved into an office on the first floor of Pacific House.

The company is a new UK subsidiary of Path Network Inc, which – based in Phoenix, Arizona, with another office in Dubai – provides tools to enable companies to protect their computer networks.

With customers including datacentres, web hosting firms and internet service providers, its stated aim is to ‘make the Internet a better, safer place for everyone.’

The company ensures network uptime and safety by effectively ‘filtering’ its customers’ data traffic. With a global capacity to handle 7 terabits per second of traffic, it does this through ‘points of presence’ in datacentres in locations including London, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Dubai, Amsterdam, Zurich, Kyiv, Warsaw, Tokyo, Miami and São Paulo.

Eastbourne resident Lee Stubbs has set up the UK business. He is selling the company’s services and will also, within Pacific House, be building specialised computer hardware for its global locations.

Lee Stubbs explained:

“It’s exciting to be launching the UK subsidiary of Path Network. We needed a professional base for our staff and we decided on Pacific House as it was the lightest, most modern building around. It has plenty of space to do what we need with great neighbours and communal areas.”

About Pacific House:  Our Pacific House building is a contemporary, three-floor business centre. It is largely occupied but has a small number of offices available for small and medium companies.

The low-energy building incorporates a light-filled atrium, conference facilities and break-out areas for informal meetings.

In addition to Pacific House, the Sovereign Harbour Innovation Park has sites which can accommodate further premises up to 80,000 sq ft. Companies can commission us to develop bespoke freehold or leasehold properties for them or can buy serviced sites to create their own.

The Innovation Park is designed to provide an economic boost to the area by providing high-quality premises and sites on previously disused land. It is three miles from Eastbourne town centre and five minutes’ walk to the cafes, restaurants and boutiques of Sovereign Harbour’s marina and retail park.

Anyone interested in offices in Pacific House or sites on the Sovereign Harbour Innovation Park should contact one of our agents:
