Medicolegal firm Expert In Mind is moving this weekend from St Leonards into a large new office on the ground floor of High Weald House on our Bexhill Enterprise Park.
Expert in Mind provides the legal sector with psychiatry and psychology services, with its panel of mental health expert witnesses providing reports for proceedings in all areas of the law. Its 14-strong team has grown steadily over the last few years and the company needed more office space to continue its expansion.
The company’s management team (below) looked at several office options in the Hastings and Bexhill area as it wanted to stay locally based. It chose High Weald House because of the combination of convenient location, countryside setting and professional working environment.
Director Zofia Ludwig (above, left) recent finalist as Business Woman of the Year – explains:
“We needed the right premises to enable us to keep growing our business without compromising the personal service we deliver. And it’s been such a turbulent year, we knew a fresh start in a brand new office would be wonderful for staff morale. Our work can be tough as we manage cases involving trauma, abuse and negligence and it’s extremely important we have a happy, positive team.
“High Weald House was clearly the best option for us. The location is great and the countryside setting is so appealing – with windows that give us amazing views. Our clients are legal representatives, psychiatrists and psychologists, so it’s vital we portray a highly professional image – and our new offices are just right in reflecting that. Added to that, everything is brand new and finished to such a high standard.”
High Weald House
High Weald House is a 25,674 sq ft building over three floors standing in the southwestern part of our Bexhill Enterprise Park, next to Glovers House and near the Combe Valley Way roundabout.
Offices within the building are available to let from 627 sq ft upwards, suiting small, medium and large companies.
Internally, High Weald House has a light-filled atrium incorporating meeting areas and tea points. It has ample on-site parking and is an energy-efficient building — with an EPC rating of A(21) — making the most of daylight and natural ventilation.

Bexhill Enterprise Park background
In addition to High Weald House, serviced plots on the Bexhill Enterprise Park are available which can accommodate up to 220,000 sq ft of business premises. You can buy these plots to develop your own properties or commission us to develop schemes to your specification.
The Bexhill Enterprise Park is part of a programme outlined in the Rother Local Plan to create a major new business and residential community to the north-east of Bexhill. This is designed to provide long-term jobs and homes to accommodate population expansion in the Hastings and Bexhill area.
